Trying to Budget

So this week we implemented a budget.  Since we have gotten married we have not actually set up a budget.  We just tried not to spend much.  We went over the last 4 months and tried to come up with ways we could do things different.  One of the things we decided to do was set a budget for everything.  In doing this we should be able to put a good chunk of change into savings.  So our grocery budget is set a 50 a week.  I am so challenged by Crystal and her 35 a week for a family of 4.  But since I am just beginning her Super Market Savings course and barely have many coupons, I thought we would start high and try to get it down as we go.

*Drum roll please…  We spent 38 dollars after tax!  I planned meals for the whole week and I think we did really good.  Here is our Menu for the week…
