Crescent Chicken Squares
This recipe came from my sister (Jenny) and I think she may have gotten it from a friend. Either way it is something I have shared with Blake and has become one of his favorites.
2 chicken brst. cooked and cut into bite size pieces
8 oz. cream cheese
6 Tbs. butter
2 Tbs. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 cans crescent rolls
bread crumbs
Blend cheese and butter. Add next 4 ingredients. Mix well. Stir in chicken bites. Separate dough into 8 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Place spoonful of meat mixture onto the center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough to top center, twist slightly to seal edges. Brush top with melted butter. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Erin,
You do not say what to do with the chicken. I’d like to try this!

Sorry I missed such an important step. Cook the chicken and cut it into bite size pieces. Then mix it with the cream cheese mixture.
I hope you enjoy it!
